We bought the company outright at the end of 2000 through an MBO. Cox & Co were recommended to us by someone in the trade, and we‘ve been with them since the start. They look after our business tax, and audit all five companies in our group. They know the best ways to save money, and they’re very good at what they do … they’ve saved us a lot on tax and NI. Whenever we have VAT or tax inspections they deal with the authorities on our behalf.

If we have any queries they react very quickly. We can always pick up the phone to them and it’s never any problem.

They’re always there for us – nothing’s too big or too small.

They’re down to earth, and they talk our language. We trust them implicitly … especially at the year end when it comes to profitability and you’ve got to know it’s right. We recently looked at buying another company and they did the due diligence for us. With the benefit of their experience we didn’t go ahead – but we saved ourselves a lot of trouble.

We wouldn’t move, and we’d recommend them to anyone. We think the world of them.
